Refund Policy
Information about project payments, cancellations, revisions, completed work, third-party costs, and refund requests for web development and digital services.
1. General Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to web development, website redesign, ecommerce, Shopify, landing page, maintenance, SEO foundation, and custom development services unless a separate written project agreement states otherwise.
Refund terms may depend on the project's scope, payment structure, development stage, work already completed, and costs committed to third-party services.
The specific payment and refund terms agreed for an individual project will take priority over this general policy where legally permitted.
2. Project Payments
Payment terms are confirmed before development begins. Depending on the project, payment may be structured as:
- Payment after completion for suitable small projects
- Milestone-based payments for larger projects
- Another payment arrangement agreed in writing
The agreed project scope, price, timeline, deliverables, revision limits, and payment schedule should be confirmed before development begins.
3. Project Cancellation
A client may request cancellation of a project by contacting Abdul Hafeez as soon as possible.
If development has not started, the cancellation may be handled according to the agreed project payment terms.
If development has already started, any refund consideration may take into account work completed, time spent, delivered materials, reserved development time, and non-refundable third-party expenses.
4. Completed Work
Once agreed project work has been substantially completed and delivered according to the approved scope, a refund is generally not automatically available simply because the client changes their mind.
If a delivered project has a legitimate issue that falls within the agreed scope, the first step will normally be to review and correct the issue where reasonably possible.
5. Revisions and Scope Changes
Revision limits are based on the package or project agreement. Reasonable revisions within the original scope are handled according to the agreed revision allowance.
New functionality, additional pages, major design changes, additional integrations, or requirements outside the original scope may be treated as additional work rather than a refund matter.
Additional work may require a new price and timeline.
6. Third-Party Costs
Costs paid to third-party providers are generally separate from development fees.
Examples include:
- Domain registration
- Website hosting
- Cloudflare paid services
- GitHub paid services
- Shopify plans
- Premium themes or plugins
- Apps and software subscriptions
- APIs and external platform charges
Third-party charges may be subject to the provider's own refund and cancellation policies and may not be refundable by Abdul Hafeez.
7. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted in writing by email. Please include:
- Your name
- Project or service name
- Date of the project agreement
- Reason for the refund request
- Relevant payment or project information
Each request will be reviewed based on the applicable project agreement, work completed, payment terms, and circumstances of the request.
8. Exceptions and Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer or legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where a written project agreement provides different refund terms, those terms will apply to the specific project where legally permitted.
9. Changes to This Refund Policy
This Refund Policy may be updated when services, payment practices, project arrangements, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
